  • Palate: very soft tannins, with almonds and sugarcane in the background.
  • Finish: virile length on the palate.

A very interesting Montebello aged rum, far beyond what its 3-year aging suggests. Dynamic ageing on board of Gallant plays a very palpable and enjoyable role here.

This rum was selected and shipped by sail aboard Gallant by the Blue Schooner Company.

    Montebello, un des vieux typé français que j’aime avoir de toutes façons. Ramené à la voile c’est encore mieux.

    LE vieux de Guadeloupe que j’aime. La touche voile en plus pour le clin d’oeil pirate.
